My Training Work
I have over 15-years' experience of running training simulations, and in 2020 I designed an oracy programme that uses original plays to develop the communication skills of its participants. Ever since, I have run the programme for both teachers and students across the UK and in many countries through central and eastern Europe.

1. Silo
A flexible 1-6 day oracy programme based around an original play, the Sci-fi/Drama, Silo. By tackling themes such as humanity’s relationship with technology and the pros and cons of AI, the participants are sure to be deeply engaged whilst enhancing all of their communication skills. Age Range 14+
2. Good Grief
A flexible 1-6 day oracy programme based around an original play, the Comedy/Drama, Good Grief. By tackling themes such as family dynamics, betrayal, grief, and loss, the participants are sure to be deeply engaged whilst enhancing all of their communication skills. Age range 14+
3. The Lady by the Water
A flexible 1-6 day oracy programme based around an original play, the Mystical/Fantasy, The Lady by the Water. By tackling themes such as war, adoption, and immigration, the participants are sure to be deeply engaged whilst enhancing all of their communication skills. Age range 11+
4. Creative Writing Course
A bitesize 1-day course that demonstrates tried and tested methods of creating stories that connect with an audience. At the end of this short course, participants will have created their own haiku, created their own short story or poem, and they will understand how to structure a great story.
